What to Pack When Travelling to Mykonos
Mykonos is both casual and classy and you can decide to lean either way. During the day you won't need much more than a bathing suit and flip-flops, even in restaurants. If you want to bring a hat make sure it sits securely on your head, otherwise you will lose it to the wind.
People dress up in the evenings. Some women do in extremely fancy outfits with stilettos, others keep it simple in shorts and sandals. Don't be afraid to be glitzy but flat shoes or low heels are highly recommended as you will be walking around down narrow crowded cobbled streets. Skirts don't always agree with the wind, but it most certainly adds to the island's epic scenery. Men are advised to wear proper shoes, while shorts are widely accepted if stylish.
On wind-less days keep it very light as temperatures will rise to over 30 at night.
