Armenistis Lighthouse

Situated at the northwest tip of the island and built in 1891, the Armenistis Lighthouse monitors the straits that separate the island of Tinos from Mykonos. The structure stands majestically at 19 metres high and offers a 184m focal plane. An octagonal tower but a smaller replica, with the original Fresnel lens, can be found in the garden of the Aegean Maritime Museum in Chora.
