I first visited Mykonos way back in 1983 as a single traveller with back-pack. Back then accomodation was sparce to say the least and many back-packers were sleeping on the beach. Mid August was then the busiest time of the season and all rooms were completely full to the rafters. After hours of walking around asking people if there were spare rooms I stumbled across ''Maria's'' and she was kind enough to let me sleep on the balcony ! I ended up staying for a month at Maria's and I've been more or less going back for the last thirty years as they are like family to me. Over the years, Nick (Maria's eldest son) has progressed what was just rooms into very tidy litle complex with en-suite, air con, TV, etc.. All you would expect with an air of that warm family feeling.
